World Oaksoak Hollow 2021

Private and hidden town between mountains and rivers, Oaksoak Hollow is a paradise for those who wish to be forgotten from the busy capital and big cities.

It all started on the fact that Hidden Springs was supposed to be a haven. What kind of peaceful place would have so many pools? Which hidden place would have modern roads? How could a town be fuel only of spas and be active all year long? No, all those needed to change.

Of course, we started by re-texturing the grass, then changed that tarmac, added a modified sidewalk (from Midnight Hollow if you wondered), grow more pines. Actually, grow complete and full forests.

Oaksoak Hollow is a nice place to live in if you like wooden cabins of good taste, gardening and fishing. Now with 33 community lots and plenty (25) of residential lots, all scattered around the map … and the trees 😉

It seems like a lot of Sims want to be forgotten as Oaksoak Hollow is bursting with life. Complete accommodations, plenty of houses to move in, shops all over the place. The only pool remaining is at the Solarium.

Oaksoak Hollow is the town to live in if you are looking for a human-size town, far from the countryside and the omni-technological presence of the big cities. Supernatural is blending in the landscape, hinting but not giving it away too easily 😉 With all this nature, don’t think wildlife is not all over the place.

Oaksoak Hollow is full of pines, but the city was named for the millennial oak in Oak Market 🙂

– Remove some trees ( not too many 😉 ) ➡️ It’s still a very green world
– Modify some lots ( such as the Oaksoak Market and the Theatre ) and suppress as many objects inside lots as possible.
– Remove too heavy lots such as the City Hall or the Hospital and use a Maxis Town Hall and a Maxis Hospital instead. We chose the Moonlight Falls City Hall which gets all in one the town hall, the military base and the police station rabbit holes …
– Remove the University to avoid any bug
– Remove some lots ( such as the Old Bookstore ) and use some others instead ( we kept the Vanderburg Library which has a bookshop section )
– We added more diversity in both residential and community lots ( new Elixir Shop, new graveyard, new pub, new fishing spot )
– We added some missing lots such as the Stadium, the Archives Cave from Supernatural, the Equestrian Center, the Dining Place, and even a kinda Church for wedding events …
– We made a specific Festival Ground
– We renamed all the lots to avoid confusion with the previous Oaksoak Hollow lots 😉

Updated April 9th 2019 – we changed the university setting for better performance and in the process, two families were relocated, an ill-built house was destroyed. Also, a fountain was added to the science lab.

Important notice: please, download and install any rug/door rabbit hole before Oaksoak Hollow. Otherwise, the rabbit holes won’t work!
Also: If you already have Oaksoak Hollow installed: uninstall it before updating the new version!
Finally: if you play with the festival ground and/or the university campus, install them after installing Oaksoak Hollow
