Creating for Sims 3 is a whole other level than creating for Sims 4. Even if it’s just building houses and worlds.
It’s time-consuming and full of unexpected challenges. It is not more rewarding than creating for Sims 4.
What makes the process worth it, is the game 🙂
In the end, Sims 3 is more free, open than Sims 4. More liberties to roam the world. Objects and buildings have more meanings in the games, stories. Built for more than merely decorations for storytellers. Not all are actionable, it is true. Even if it is harder to create for Sims 3, more objects can be derived or replaced to the same animation and give different meaning.
Worlds are open in Sims 3.
You can roam them day and night without interruption. It doesn’t stop the story, nor your imagination, you can change character to play or just change plans without having to wait on a screen. Except if you travel. Than you’ll have to wait. And it might be a long wait if you have an aging computer or too much custom content.
In any case, we’ve been playing since The Sims and keep going back to Sims 2 or 3, even Sims 4 to create. So yes, it is never ending fun 😉
